Youth Camp Packing List
Students are required to bring enough clothes to last eight days. Remember to pack all essential items marked with an asterisk*. Indianhead Ranch is NOT responsible for camper’s damaged, misplaced or stolen property.
Permanently label all items.
Novice Camp Equipment List
It might be cheaper to ship a box before arrival as Continental Airlines charges for the first piece of luggage.
___ 2 pairs of tennis shoes or walking/hunting shoes
___ 6 (OR MORE) pairs of socks
___ 4 pairs of underwear
___ 5 pairs of shorts, jeans or long pants
___ 5 short sleeve shirts / long sleeve shirts / t-shirts /or polo’s (recommend green, khaki, tan or other color suitable for hunting)
___ 1 light weight jacket or windbreaker (In case of rain, wind, and cool buildings)***
___ Cell Phone (if you have one) WILL BE LEFT IN ROOM AT ALL TIMES!!!
___1 swimsuit
___ 1 cap and Sunglasses***
___ toiletry articles ( toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.) ***
___ chap stick, sunscreen and insect repellant***
___ Sleeping Bag (Provided to International Students only) ***
___ 1 flashlight with spare batteries and bulbs
___ Money for incidentals (for flying back extra luggage, souvenirs, etc.)
Please Do Not Bring The Following Items: Gum, Candy or any other food items; Electronics; Video Games; etc.
If a camper utilizes their knife in an unsafe manner, a counselor will put the knife away until the camper’s departure. No electronics will be permitted outside the cabins, if a camper begins to use the electronics outside of the designated are, a counselor WILL put the device away for safe keeping and it will be returned to the camper upon departure.
